Ingredients :-
15 -20 slices of bread (crust removed )
1/2 cup warm milk
Fillings for the layers :-
100 gms salami
1 cup boiled or roasted chicken
3 hard boiled eggs -cut into slices
1 cup Seekh kebabs -chopped into small pieces
1 cup paneer (cottage cheese) mashed
1 tsp dried Oregano
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
4 tsp Mayonnaise
4 tsp cheese spread
4 tsp hung curd
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp prepared Mustard
salt and pepper for seasoning
Remove the crusts of the bread slices. (I forgot to do this).
Soak each bread slice in the milk for 2 minutes. Press the bread slice lightly to squeeze out the excess milk.Crumble the bread.
Take a dish and press the crumbled bread at the base of this dish.
Now add your first layer of salami on top. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Repeat the first step- soak your bread slice, squeeze out the milk and layer on top of the salamis.Press it down gently with your hand.
Now, mix the shredded chicken with the hung curd,crushed garlic, mustard and 1 tsp mayonnaise.Check the seasoning and spoon it on top of the bread layer.
Again, add a layer of bread.
Next, spoon a generous helping of the chopped Seekh kebab.Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Repeat the bread layer.
Mix the crushed paneer (cottage cheese) with the cheese spread and cream. Add salt, pepper and a tsp of Oregano to it. Mash it to a creamy consistency and spoon it on top of the bread layer.
Add the bread layer again.
Next goes in a layer of sliced boiled eggs.Check seasoning.
Put in the last layer of the bread. Press it down and you are done. Decorate with egg slices and pieces of salami. Keep in the fridge for 2-3 hours before serving.
Choose any filling according to your choice to layer in between or even repeat the fillings in the layers.
