Savoury Meat Sandwich

Hi we "meat" again! This time for a real feast for all the hardcore non-vegetarians fans (like my daughter who if she had her way, could  very easily have non -vegetarian food in all her three meals). If you happen to have  bread lying around which is difficult  to finish (like in the forces, we get  two big loaves of bread in our weekly rations which most of us are not able to consume), go in for this simple, easy to make multi-layered sandwich  with a variety of meat fillings.and infinite variety of contents  to stun the imagination, sight, and stomach.

Ingredients :-
15 -20 slices of bread (crust removed )
1/2 cup warm milk

 Fillings for the layers :-
100 gms salami
1 cup boiled or roasted chicken
3 hard boiled eggs -cut into slices
1 cup Seekh kebabs -chopped into small pieces
1 cup paneer (cottage cheese)  mashed
1 tsp dried Oregano
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
4 tsp Mayonnaise
4 tsp cheese spread
4 tsp hung curd
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp prepared Mustard
salt and pepper for seasoning

Method :-
Remove the crusts of the bread slices. (I forgot to do this).
Soak each bread slice in the milk for 2 minutes. Press the bread slice lightly to squeeze out the excess milk.Crumble the bread.

Take a dish and press the crumbled bread at the base of this dish.

Now add your first layer of salami on top. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.

Repeat the first step- soak your bread slice, squeeze out the milk and layer on top of the salamis.Press it down gently with your hand.

Now, mix the shredded chicken with the  hung curd, crushed garlic, mustard and 1 tsp mayonnaise.Check the seasoning and spoon it on top of the bread layer.
Again, add a layer of bread.
Next, spoon a generous helping of the chopped Seekh kebab.Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Repeat the bread layer.
Mix the crushed paneer (cottage cheese)  with the cheese spread and cream. Add salt, pepper and a tsp of Oregano to it. Mash it to a creamy consistency and spoon it on top of the bread layer.
Add the bread layer again.
Next goes in a layer of sliced boiled eggs.Check seasoning.

Put in the last layer of the bread. Press it down and you are done. Decorate with egg slices and pieces of salami. Keep in the fridge for 2-3 hours before serving.

Choose any filling according to your choice to layer in between or even repeat the fillings in the layers.

Enjoy your Meat Extravaganza!!
