Brownies


Oh! The joy of brownies! One bite and it leaves you wanting more...much, much more! These rich fudgy brownies are really simple to make and can be made quickly without making too much of a mess.It is just perfect to make in a hurry when you have unexpected guests over. This recipe makes about 12 small brownies or 9 big ones.Serve it with a big scoop of ice-cream and enjoy the yummy treat!

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
3 tsp cocoa
2 eggs 
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Method
Preheat oven to 180C / 350F.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and cocoa over low heat. Stir occasionally.
Stir in the eggs, vanilla essence and sugar using a wooden spoon. Beat lightly and combine.
Stir in the flour and nuts.
Mix well and put in a prepared baking tin.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 20-25 minutes untill brownies began to "pull away" from the pan.
Cool completely in the pan.
Cut the brownies into square and you are ready to dig in!
